Terms & EULA

Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms explain how you buy TomaLab software and what you may do with it. By buying, downloading, installing or using TomaLab software you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not install the software.

1. Who we are

TomaLab is run by Falus Tamás, a Hungarian sole trader, 1133 Budapest, Pannónia utca 64. B ép. 5. em. 25., Hungary, tax number 67151323-2-41, EU VAT ID HU67151323 (“TomaLab”, “we”, “us”). Contact: hello@tomalab.app. Full details are in the Imprint.

2. Buying on tomalab.app

Our online shop is run by Moonbase AS, Utsikten 6, 3718 Skien, Norway (org. no. 931 730 258), which acts as reseller and merchant of record. When you buy on tomalab.app:

Prices are shown in euros before checkout. The final price, including any VAT or sales tax for your country, is shown at checkout before you pay. Launch or promotional prices apply only for the period shown.

3. Buying from a partner store

If you buy TomaLab software from a partner store or marketplace (for example KVR Audio, MuseHub, Plugivery or Bandcamp), your purchase contract, payment and refunds are governed by that store’s terms. The licence in section 4 still applies to your use of the software.

4. End-user licence agreement (EULA)

4.1 Licence

When you pay for a product, TomaLab grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to install and use that product, for as long as you comply with these terms. The software is licensed, not sold. TomaLab keeps all rights not expressly granted to you.

4.2 Three computers per user

Each licence lets one person activate the software on up to three (3) computers they own or control at the same time, on macOS or Windows. You can deactivate a computer in your account to free an activation for another one. A licence bought by a company or school may be used by one named person at a time.

4.3 Your account and activation

You need a TomaLab account on tomalab.app to buy, download and activate the software. Licences are issued and checked by our licensing provider, Moonbase. Keep your login details private; you are responsible for activity on your account.

4.4 What you may do

4.5 What you may not do

4.6 Transfer

Licences cannot be transferred to another person unless we agree in writing. If you would like to transfer a licence, write to us at hello@tomalab.app.

4.7 Updates

Your licence includes free updates within the same major version (for example 1.x). We may offer upgrades to new major versions for a fee. We are not obliged to release updates, but we will keep the software in conformity with this agreement as required by consumer law.

4.8 End of the licence

The licence ends automatically if you break these terms or if your purchase is refunded or charged back. You must then uninstall the software and delete all copies.

5. System requirements and trial

Check the system requirements on the product page before you buy. Where a free demo or trial is offered, please use it to check that the software works with your computer and DAW.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

TripRama and other TomaLab software are digital content delivered immediately after purchase. At checkout you are asked to agree that delivery starts straight away and to acknowledge that you therefore lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. On top of the law, we offer a voluntary refund on request within 14 days of purchase, whether or not the licence has been activated. See the Refund policy.

7. Defective software

If the software does not work as described, contact us at hello@tomalab.app and we will fix it, or, if we cannot, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund. These rights come from consumer law and are not limited by these terms.

8. Warranty and liability

Apart from the rights in section 7 and any other rights you have by law, the software is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will be error-free or work with every computer, operating system, DAW or plugin format. Please keep backups of your projects.

We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for harm to life, body or health. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the product concerned, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms, for example when we add products or change providers. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published when you bought. Changes to the licence never reduce the rights you already paid for.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. For complaints, see the Imprint.
